1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Globe King Records and Globe Made It website, including its content, digital products, music, beats, downloads, services, resources, communications, and any future features or purchasing functionality made available through the website (collectively, the “Services”). The website and related Services are operated by Globe King Records, a Québec-based sole proprietorship. Globe Made It is a public-facing brand, creative identity, and content name operated by Globe King Records. Globe Made It is not a separate corporation or separate legal entity. By accessing or using the website, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Services or make a purchase. These Terms are intended to provide a clear framework for the use of the website and the purchase and use of Globe King Records digital products. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive any right, remedy, protection, or obligation that cannot legally be excluded, restricted, or waived.

2. Eligibility

The website and its purchasing functionality are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. By using purchasing functionality, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into the applicable transaction under the laws that apply to you. The website may be accessible to persons under 18, but Globe King Records does not knowingly intend to collect personal information from children in circumstances where doing so would violate applicable law.

3. Website Use

You may access and use the website for lawful personal, informational, and legitimate business purposes. You must not use the website or its Services to:

Globe King Records may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, abuse, security concerns, unlawful activity, infringement, or violations of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

4. Intellectual Property

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Globe King Records owns or controls, or has the necessary rights to use, the intellectual property that it makes available through the website, including its original music, beats, recordings, videos, written content, graphics, branding, logos, website materials, original photographs, original audiovisual content, and other original materials. The purchase or download of a digital file does not transfer copyright ownership or other intellectual-property ownership to the purchaser unless a separate written agreement expressly provides otherwise. You may not, without appropriate authorization:

reproduce or redistribute Globe King Records material;
sell or sublicense it;
upload or re-upload it as a standalone file;
make it available for download by others;
claim it as your own;
register Globe King Records material as your own copyrighted work;
create unauthorized derivative works;
incorporate it into a sample pack for distribution or sale;
extract and redistribute individual sounds or elements;
use it to train, develop, or facilitate an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system where such use is not expressly authorized; or
otherwise commercially exploit it outside the rights expressly granted to you.

You may share reasonable links to Globe King Records pages and publicly available content through ordinary social-media or communication channels, provided that the sharing does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, ownership, or affiliation that does not exist.

5. Third-Party Materials

The website may contain or refer to products, software, samples, sounds, services, trademarks, recordings, websites, videos, links, or other materials owned or controlled by third parties. Globe King Records does not claim ownership of third-party material merely because it appears on or is referenced by the website. Third-party products, trademarks, names, logos, software, samples, recordings, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners. Globe King Records grants only the rights that it actually owns or is legally authorized to grant. Where a Globe King Records beat or other product contains third-party material, the customer's rights may be subject to the applicable third-party license or restriction. Globe King Records does not promise that every third-party product, sample, resource, software product, or service is available, compatible, suitable, transferable, or licensed for every possible use.

6. Digital Products and Beat Purchases

Globe King Records may offer digital music products including individual beats, albums, sample-related products, and other downloadable creative materials. The specific rights associated with a product depend on the product description and applicable purchase terms.

Basic Personal-Use Beat Purchase

Unless a product expressly states otherwise, a basic digital beat purchase provides the purchaser with a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal-use right to:

download and retain a copy of the purchased file;
listen to the beat privately; and
use the beat in permitted personal, non-commercial creative projects.

A basic purchase may also permit use of the beat in personal, non-commercial content published on platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or similar social-media platforms, provided that the content and use remain genuinely non-commercial. The basic purchase does not grant:

copyright ownership;
commercial rights;
monetization rights;
advertising rights;
sponsorship-related use;
client or commissioned-project use;
commercial website use;
commercial podcast use;
commercial game or application use;
music-release or distribution rights;
Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, SoundCloud, or comparable commercial release rights;
Content ID registration rights;
synchronization rights for commercial productions;
resale rights;
sublicensing rights;
redistribution rights;
sample-pack rights;
rights to extract and redistribute sounds;
rights to claim the beat as original work belonging to the purchaser; or
rights to register the underlying beat or composition as the purchaser's copyright.

A separate written license or agreement is required for uses outside the rights expressly granted above.

Credit

Credit to Globe King Records or Globe Made It is appreciated but is not mandatory for a basic personal-use purchase unless a specific written agreement states otherwise.

7. Modifications to Purchased Beats

A purchaser of a basic personal-use beat may make minor practical adjustments reasonably necessary for an authorized personal project, such as trimming, fading, or adjusting the placement of the beat within permitted content. Substantial modification, remixing, reworking, reconstruction, sampling, extraction of individual elements, or creation of a derivative version requires separate authorization unless expressly permitted by a separate license.

8. Commercial, Non-Exclusive and Exclusive Licenses

Commercial use of a Globe King Records beat is not automatically granted by purchasing a basic digital download. Commercial, non-exclusive, exclusive, synchronization, commissioned, or other expanded rights may be provided through a separate written agreement. A separate agreement may establish, among other things:

permitted uses;
territory;
duration;
distribution limits;
monetization;
number of releases or copies;
credits;
Content ID treatment;
exclusivity;
sublicensing;
promotional rights;
copyright ownership; and
other negotiated rights and restrictions.

An exclusive license does not automatically transfer copyright ownership. Copyright ownership will remain with Globe King Records unless a separate written agreement expressly transfers ownership.

9. Commissioned Music and Custom Jingles

Custom jingles, commissioned music, corporate music, advertising music, soundtracks, custom productions, and similar work may be governed by an individual written agreement. The ownership, licensing, usage rights, exclusivity, deliverables, credits, revisions, payment terms, and copyright treatment for commissioned work will be determined by that specific agreement. Payment for commissioned work does not, by itself, automatically transfer copyright ownership unless the applicable written agreement expressly provides for such a transfer.

10. Albums and Other Digital Releases

Unless otherwise stated, the purchase of a Globe King Records album or other digital release provides a personal-use digital copy. The purchaser may download, retain, and privately listen to the purchased material. The purchase does not transfer copyright or grant commercial, synchronization, distribution, resale, sublicensing, Content ID, or other commercial rights unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

11. Sample Packs and Future Products

If Globe King Records offers sample packs or other products with their own licensing requirements, those products may be governed by separate product-specific terms. A basic music-download purchase does not automatically grant rights to use any future sample pack, sound library, preset collection, or other product.

12. Prices, Currency and Taxes

Prices may be displayed in United States dollars (USD). Any price examples appearing in Globe King Records planning materials, descriptions, demonstrations, or other content—including examples such as $1.99 USD for an individual beat or $9.99 USD for an album—are illustrative only and do not establish fixed prices. Actual product prices may vary. Globe King Records may change prices, discontinue products, introduce promotions, offer discounts, create bundles, or establish promotional codes at its discretion, subject to applicable law and the terms of any specific promotion. Applicable taxes and other charges will be handled as required by applicable law and the payment/checkout system. Currency-conversion charges, foreign-exchange fees, or similar charges imposed by a customer's bank, card issuer, payment provider, or other financial institution may be the customer's responsibility.

13. Purchases and Electronic Acceptance

Where online purchasing is available, the customer may be required to review and affirmatively accept these Terms before completing a transaction. The applicable product description, price, purchase information, these Terms, and any product-specific terms applicable at the time of purchase may form part of the transaction. A specific written agreement may supplement or override these general Terms for the particular transaction where the agreement expressly provides that it does so. Globe King Records will provide purchase or contractual documentation as required by applicable law.

14. Digital Delivery

Unless otherwise stated, digital products are intended to be delivered electronically following successful payment. Where technically available, the customer may receive:

immediate access to a download after successful payment; and
a download link or purchase confirmation by email.

The customer is responsible for providing an accurate email address and maintaining access to the email account associated with the purchase. A customer should retain their purchase confirmation and downloaded files.

15. Download Support

Globe King Records does not guarantee that every digital file will function on every device, operating system, application, software version, browser, or technical environment. Globe King Records is not responsible for technical problems caused by a customer's device, software, internet connection, storage system, third-party service, or other circumstances outside Globe King Records' reasonable control. If a legitimate purchaser experiences a genuine technical problem preventing access to a purchased digital product, Globe King Records will make reasonable efforts, after verifying the purchase, to provide appropriate technical assistance or a replacement download where reasonably possible. Globe King Records does not impose a fixed number of downloads as a general rule, but may investigate or restrict unusually high, automated, suspicious, or abusive download activity.

16. Product Removal and Retirement

Globe King Records may stop selling, modify, replace, retire, or remove a product from the website. Ordinary removal or retirement of a product does not automatically cancel a legitimate existing personal-use purchase. However, if a genuine legal, copyright, licensing, security, or third-party rights issue makes continued availability or use of a product legally impossible or materially inappropriate, Globe King Records may suspend or remove the affected product and take reasonable remedial action. Where appropriate and required by applicable law, Globe King Records may contact affected customers regarding available remedies.

17. Refunds and Cancellations

Digital products are generally intended to be final once successfully delivered or downloaded, subject always to mandatory rights and remedies provided by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms eliminates a consumer's mandatory legal right to cancel, obtain a refund, or seek another remedy where such a right applies. Additional information regarding refunds and cancellations is provided in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms where applicable.

18. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers should contact Globe King Records before initiating a payment dispute when the issue can reasonably be resolved through customer support. Where Globe King Records reasonably believes that a chargeback or payment reversal is fraudulent, abusive, unauthorized, or inconsistent with the transaction, Globe King Records may, where legally permitted:

provide transaction records and other relevant evidence to the payment processor;
contest the chargeback;
suspend access to the affected product or Services;
refuse future transactions; and
pursue other lawful remedies.

Nothing in this section limits a customer's legitimate statutory rights concerning unauthorized transactions or legally valid disputes.

19. Affiliate Links and Recommendations

Globe King Records may publish affiliate links and product recommendations. An affiliate relationship may result in Globe King Records receiving a commission or other compensation if a visitor purchases through an affiliate link. Third-party merchants control their own transactions, payment processing, shipping, returns, warranties, customer service, availability, and applicable terms. Globe King Records does not guarantee the performance, availability, compatibility, suitability, price, security, or quality of third-party products or services. 20. Sponsored Content and Reviews

Globe King Records may participate in sponsorships, product testing, reviews, partnerships, affiliate programs, or other commercial relationships. Material relationships will be disclosed where required or appropriate. Globe King Records may receive products, discounts, payments, commissions, or other compensation. Unless a separate written agreement expressly provides otherwise, sponsorship or compensation does not guarantee a positive opinion or review. Globe King Records seeks to maintain editorial independence and may express an honest positive, negative, or mixed opinion regarding a product or service.

21. Educational and Informational Content

Tutorials, demonstrations, gear reviews, beatmaking sessions, production advice, technical explanations, and other educational content are provided for general informational and educational purposes. Results may vary depending on equipment, software, settings, experience, technique, environment, and other factors. Information may become outdated as products, software, specifications, prices, features, compatibility, and services change. Globe King Records does not guarantee that following a tutorial will produce a particular result. Users remain responsible for their own decisions and should consult applicable manufacturer documentation, safety instructions, and professional advice where appropriate.

22. Third-Party Websites and Services

The website may link to or integrate with third-party websites, platforms, applications, merchants, payment providers, social-media services, video platforms, affiliate networks, email services, hosting providers, analytics services, or other third-party services. Globe King Records does not control those third parties. Their availability, pricing, functionality, security, privacy practices, terms, policies, products, and services may change without notice. Use of a third-party service may be subject to that third party's own terms and privacy policy. Globe King Records is not responsible for third-party transactions, outages, security incidents, products, services, content, policies, or conduct, except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

Globe King Records does not guarantee that the website or its Services will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, current, or compatible with every device or system. Website content, product availability, specifications, prices, links, integrations, videos, downloads, and features may change without notice. Globe King Records may temporarily suspend or modify the website for maintenance, upgrades, security, technical reasons, business reasons, or other circumstances. Globe King Records will use reasonable efforts to maintain its own systems but does not guarantee that third-party infrastructure or internet services will remain continuously available.

24. Security

Globe King Records may implement reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect its systems and information. However, no internet-connected system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Globe King Records is not responsible for security problems caused by a customer's device, compromised credentials, third-party systems, malicious software, internet infrastructure, or other circumstances outside its reasonable control, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

25. Prohibited Commercial and Copyright Uses

Unless expressly authorized in writing, you may not use a Globe King Records beat or other protected material to:

create a commercial release;
monetize content;
provide client services;
advertise or promote a third party;
create commercial audiovisual works;
create advertisements;
distribute a derivative musical work commercially;
register the underlying work with Content ID;
claim ownership of the underlying work;
sublicense or transfer rights;
resell the original file;
redistribute the original file;
create a competing music library;
create a sample pack;
extract and distribute individual sounds; or
otherwise exploit the material beyond the rights expressly granted.

26. User Violations and Enforcement

Where permitted by applicable law, Globe King Records may take reasonable action in response to violations of these Terms, including:

suspending or terminating access;
restricting downloads;
refusing future purchases;
disabling access to affected products;
removing or disabling infringing material;
preserving relevant evidence;
reporting suspected fraud, unlawful activity, or infringement to appropriate parties;
seeking reimbursement or other lawful remedies; and
pursuing available legal remedies.

Globe King Records may exercise these rights proportionately and in accordance with applicable law.

27. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Globe King Records, its owner, contractors, service providers, partners, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or economic losses arising from or relating to the website, Services, products, downloads, third-party services, or use of materials, including loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunities, data, goodwill, or anticipated savings. This includes, where legally permitted, losses arising from:

website downtime;
platform outages;
download failures;
file corruption;
loss of downloaded files;
software or hardware incompatibility;
YouTube or other platform removal, demonetization, policy changes, or account actions;
changes to product specifications;
tutorial or educational-content errors;
third-party products or services;
third-party claims;
malware or security incidents originating outside Globe King Records' reasonable control;
internet or telecommunications failures; and
events beyond Globe King Records' reasonable control.

For a specific paid digital product, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Globe King Records' aggregate contractual liability relating to that product will generally not exceed the amount actually paid for that particular product. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, rights, remedies, warranties, or obligations that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

28. Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control

Globe King Records will not be responsible for delay, interruption, failure, or inability to perform caused by circumstances reasonably beyond its control, including:

natural disasters;
severe weather;
fire;
power failures;
telecommunications failures;
internet outages;
hosting failures;
payment-provider failures;
third-party platform failures;
cyberattacks or widespread security incidents;
government actions;
regulatory changes;
strikes or labor disruptions;
transportation disruptions;
war or civil unrest; or
other events beyond reasonable control.

This provision does not remove any mandatory consumer or other statutory rights.

29. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your material breach of these Terms, or your infringement of third-party rights. This provision does not require you to indemnify Globe King Records for matters caused by Globe King Records' own unlawful conduct or for obligations that cannot legally be transferred to you.

30. Privacy

Privacy rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected by these Terms.

33. No Agency or Partnership

Nothing on this website, in these Terms, or in ordinary communications with Globe King Records creates an agency relationship, partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, franchise, fiduciary relationship, copyright transfer, or other legal relationship unless expressly established in a separate written agreement. Communications with Globe King Records do not create a contractual commitment beyond what is expressly agreed in writing or established through a valid transaction.

34. No Legal or Professional Advice

The website and its content are provided for general informational and educational purposes and do not constitute individualized legal, financial, tax, accounting, technical, or other professional advice. For unusual, high-value, complex, or commercially significant arrangements—including substantial licensing transactions, copyright transfers, exclusive agreements, commissioned productions, corporate contracts, or international transactions—users should obtain advice from an appropriately qualified professional where appropriate.

35. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will, to the extent legally permitted, be modified or limited only as necessary to make it enforceable. If modification is not possible, the affected provision will be severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

36. No Waiver

A failure or delay by Globe King Records to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of any other right. Any express waiver should be interpreted only to the extent expressly stated and for the specific circumstance for which it was given.

37. Assignment

Globe King Records may assign, transfer, or delegate its rights and obligations under these Terms in connection with a sale, restructuring, merger, acquisition, transfer of assets, transfer of the website, or transfer of the business or substantially all of its operations, subject to applicable law. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without appropriate authorization from Globe King Records.

38. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any applicable product-specific terms, purchase information, policies incorporated by reference, and separate written agreements, constitute the applicable agreement between you and Globe King Records concerning the relevant Services or transaction. A separate written agreement may supplement, modify, or override these Terms for a particular transaction where it expressly provides that it does so.

39. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Province of Québec and the applicable laws of Canada, without giving effect to conflict-of-law principles that would require the application of another jurisdiction's law, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Where legally permissible, disputes may be brought before the courts having jurisdiction in Québec. Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer protections, privacy rights, or other rights that apply to you under the laws of your jurisdiction and cannot legally be waived.

Nothing in this section prevents a person from exercising a statutory right or legal remedy that cannot lawfully be restricted.

Globe King Records may update these Terms from time to time as the website, Services, business practices, technology, or applicable legal requirements change. The Last Updated date at the top of this page will be changed when the Terms are materially updated. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, Globe King Records will provide that notice or obtain that consent as required. Your continued use of the website after an update may constitute acceptance of the revised Terms only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
