Affiliate Disclosure & Sponsored Content Policy

1. Purpose

Globe Made It may publish music-production content, gear reviews, tutorials, demonstrations, recommendations and other creative content involving products and services provided by third parties. Some of this content may involve affiliate relationships, sponsored collaborations, complimentary products or other forms of compensation. This policy explains how those relationships may work.

2. Our Commitment to Transparency

Globe King Records believes that audiences should be able to understand when a commercial relationship exists between Globe Made It and a company, brand, retailer or service provider. Where a material connection exists, Globe Made It intends to disclose it clearly and in a manner appropriate to the content and applicable law. A commercial relationship does not automatically mean that Globe Made It has a positive opinion of a product.

3. Affiliate Links

Globe Made It may use affiliate links. An affiliate link is a link that may allow Globe Made It to receive a commission or other compensation if a visitor makes a qualifying purchase or takes another qualifying action after following the link. The price paid by the customer may remain the same, unless the applicable offer states otherwise. Affiliate compensation may vary depending on the merchant, product, program and transaction.

4. Current Affiliate Relationships

• zZounds; and
• other affiliate programs that may be added in the future.

Affiliate programs may change over time. This policy is intended to disclose the existence and nature of affiliate relationships rather than guarantee that every listed program is active at every moment.

5. Amazon Associates

Globe Made It may participate in the Amazon Associates program. Where applicable, Globe Made It may earn a commission from qualifying purchases made through Amazon affiliate links. Amazon products, prices, availability and terms are controlled by Amazon and may change without notice. Globe Made It does not control Amazon's website, inventory, shipping, pricing or customer-service policies.

6. zZounds

Globe Made It may participate in the zZounds affiliate program. Where applicable, Globe Made It may receive compensation when visitors use qualifying affiliate links or referral information associated with Globe Made It. Product availability, pricing, financing, shipping and other transaction terms are controlled by zZounds.

7. Future Affiliate Relationships

Globe Made It may add other affiliate relationships in the future. When an affiliate relationship is material to a recommendation or content, appropriate disclosure will be provided. The existence of an affiliate relationship does not mean that Globe Made It owns, controls or represents the affiliated company.

8. Sponsored Content

Globe Made It may receive compensation or other consideration for sponsored content. Sponsored arrangements may include:

• temporary product loans;
• discounts;
• promotional opportunities;
• affiliate compensation;
• production support;

9. Free Products

• unboxing;
• tutorial;
• comparison;
• music production;
• content creation; or
• other editorial purposes.

Receiving a free product does not guarantee a favorable review. Where the relationship is material, the content may disclose that the product was provided free of charge or otherwise received as part of a collaboration.

10. Paid Collaborations

Globe Made It may accept paid collaborations. A company may pay Globe King Records to create content featuring or discussing a product. Paid content will be identified appropriately where required. Payment does not automatically give the sponsor control over Globe Made It's editorial conclusions.

11. Editorial Independence

Globe Made It intends to provide honest opinions based on its actual experience with a product or service. Sponsors and companies may provide:

• product information;
• specifications;
• demonstrations;
• usage guidance;
• brand assets;
• talking points; or
• other factual information.

Unless otherwise agreed in a specific written contract, the sponsor does not have the right to require Globe Made It to express an opinion that Globe Made It does not genuinely hold. Globe Made It may identify both strengths and limitations of a product where relevant to the content.

12. Sponsorship Agreements

A particular collaboration may be governed by a separate written agreement. That agreement may establish:

• deliverables;
• payment;
• deadlines;
• product ownership;
• usage rights;
• advertising requirements;
• disclosure requirements;
• content approval procedures;
• exclusivity;
• affiliate arrangements;
• cancellation;
• intellectual-property rights; and
• other conditions.

Where a separate written agreement exists, that agreement governs the specific collaboration to the extent stated.

13. No Guarantee of Positive Coverage

Globe King Records does not promise a company that a product will receive a positive review merely because:

• the company provided the product;
• the product was provided for free;
• the company paid for content;
• an affiliate relationship exists; or
• a sponsorship agreement exists.

The nature and scope of any editorial independence may also depend on the terms of a specific written agreement.
