1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions that apply to purchases made through Globe King Records, including digital music, beats, albums and other digital products. This policy applies together with the Globe King Records Terms & Conditions and any product-specific terms presented at the time of purchase. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any consumer right, cancellation right, legal warranty or other protection that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Where mandatory law provides a greater right or remedy, that right prevails.

2. Digital Products

Globe King Records primarily offers digital products and downloadable content. Digital products may include:

• individual beats;
• albums;
• digital music;
• downloadable audio files;
• sample packs or other digital products introduced in the future; and
• other downloadable creative content.

The exact product, format, price, currency, delivery method and applicable conditions will be identified before or at the time of purchase as required by applicable law.

3. General Refund Policy

Except where a refund or cancellation is required by applicable law, or where Globe King Records expressly offers a refund for a particular product, digital purchases are generally considered final once the product has been successfully delivered or made available for download. This is because digital products can generally be accessed, copied or retained after delivery. However, Globe King Records may voluntarily approve a refund, replacement or other remedy where appropriate, including in cases involving:

• a significant technical problem;
• a corrupted or unusable file;
• an incorrect product being delivered;
• a duplicate transaction;
• a verified unauthorized transaction;
• a significant mismatch between the product purchased and the product delivered; or
• another circumstance that Globe King Records determines reasonably warrants a remedy.

Any voluntary refund or exception does not establish an obligation to provide the same remedy in every future situation.

4. Technical Problems With a Digital Download

If you legitimately purchased a digital product but experience a technical problem accessing or downloading it, contact: info@globekingrecords.com Please provide enough information for us to identify the transaction, such as:

• your name;
• email address used for the purchase;
• order or transaction information;
• product purchased;
• description of the problem; and
• relevant screenshots or error messages, where available.

We may first attempt to resolve the technical problem. Where appropriate, and after verifying the legitimate purchase, Globe King Records may provide a replacement download, re-delivery or another reasonable technical solution.

5. Incorrect or Defective Digital Product

If the wrong digital product was delivered or the purchased file is materially defective, please contact us promptly. Depending on the circumstances, we may:

• provide the correct file;
• provide a replacement file;
• restore legitimate download access;
• provide another reasonable remedy; or
• issue a refund where appropriate or legally required.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory legal warranty or consumer protection that may apply.

6. Duplicate Purchases

If you accidentally purchase the same digital product more than once, contact us at info@globekingrecords.com as soon as reasonably possible. Where the transaction can be verified and the circumstances support it, Globe King Records may refund a duplicate purchase. Any refund remains subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the transaction.

7. Change of Mind

Except where required by applicable law or expressly permitted by Globe King Records, changing your mind after receiving or accessing a digital product does not automatically create a right to a refund. The availability of a voluntary refund does not override mandatory consumer cancellation rights.

8. Cancellation Rights Required by Law

Certain purchases made online or through other distance-selling methods may be cancellable under applicable consumer-protection legislation. For example, Québec's Consumer Protection Act provides cancellation rights in specified circumstances involving distance contracts, including certain failures by the merchant to provide required information, deliver within the required timeframe, or provide the required contract. Where a legally valid cancellation right applies, Globe King Records will process the cancellation and refund in accordance with the applicable law. For Québec consumers, the statutory rules can include circumstances in which a merchant must reimburse amounts paid within the applicable statutory period following cancellation.

9. Digital Content and Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to eliminate statutory rights that apply specifically to digital products, consumer contracts, legal warranties, conformity requirements or distance purchases. If applicable law provides a mandatory remedy because a digital product does not conform to the contract or because Globe King Records has failed to meet a legal obligation, that remedy remains available.

10. Beat Purchases and Licensing

Purchasing a beat does not automatically provide the purchaser with copyright ownership or an unrestricted commercial license. Unless the applicable product page or written agreement expressly states otherwise, a basic beat purchase provides only the rights expressly granted with that purchase. Commercial, exclusive or customized rights may require a separate written agreement. Refund eligibility does not automatically change, expand or transfer intellectual-property rights.

11. Commercial and Exclusive Agreements

Commercial, exclusive, commissioned or other customized music agreements may contain their own cancellation, payment, deposit, delivery and refund provisions. Where a separate written agreement applies to a transaction, that agreement may supplement or override this general Refund & Cancellation Policy to the extent stated in the agreement and permitted by applicable law.

12. Albums and Collections

Digital albums and collections are subject to the same general principles as individual digital products. If an album is purchased as a single digital product or package, a refund will generally not be provided solely because the purchaser later decides that they do not want some of the included tracks, except where required by applicable law or expressly offered by Globe King Records.

13. Promotions, Discounts and Bundles

Promotional products, discounted products, bundles, coupon codes and special offers may have additional conditions. Those conditions will be disclosed with the applicable promotion where required. A promotion does not remove mandatory consumer rights. Unless otherwise required by law, a promotional discount does not create an entitlement to retroactively apply that discount to an earlier purchase.

14. Taxes and Refunds

Where a refund is issued, Globe King Records will process applicable tax adjustments in accordance with the applicable transaction and legal requirements. The amount refunded may include applicable taxes that were originally charged on the refunded amount where required.

15. Payment Processing

Refunds will generally be issued through the payment method or payment processor used for the original transaction, where technically and legally possible. The timing of the credit appearing in a customer's account may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.

16. Chargebacks

Customers should contact Globe King Records first when there is a legitimate problem with a purchase. Unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks may be disputed where appropriate and legally permitted. Globe King Records may provide the payment processor or financial institution with relevant transaction records, delivery information, communications and other evidence necessary to establish the transaction history. Nothing in this section restricts a customer's lawful right to dispute an unauthorized or improperly processed transaction.

17. Unauthorized Purchases

If you believe that your payment method was used without authorization, contact your payment provider immediately and contact Globe King Records at info@globekingrecords.com. We may investigate the transaction and take reasonable measures to protect the customer, Globe King Records and third parties from fraud or unauthorized activity.

18. Product Removal or Rights Issues

Globe King Records may occasionally need to remove, modify, replace or disable access to a digital product because of:

• copyright or licensing concerns;
• third-party rights;
• technical problems;
• legal requirements;
• security concerns;
• business decisions; or
• other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If a previously purchased product becomes legally impossible to provide or continue using because of a rights issue attributable to the product, Globe King Records will assess the situation and may provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a replacement product, alternative access or refund where appropriate or required by law.

19. No Automatic Refund for Product Retirement

The discontinuation of a product does not automatically create a refund right where the customer's existing rights and access remain legally and contractually valid. If continued use becomes legally impossible, the affected customer may contact Globe King Records so that the situation can be reviewed.

• product purchased;
• purchase date; and
• reason for the request.

We may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify the transaction and assess the request.

21. Processing Requests

Refund and cancellation requests will be reviewed based on:

• the applicable product terms;
• the transaction records;
• any separate written agreement;
• applicable consumer-protection legislation; and
• other mandatory laws applicable to the transaction.

Where a statutory cancellation or refund deadline applies, the legally prescribed deadline takes precedence over any general timeframe described in this policy.

22. International Customers

Globe King Records may sell digital products internationally. Customers outside Québec may have mandatory consumer rights under the laws of their jurisdiction. Nothing in this policy is intended to waive mandatory rights that cannot legally be waived. Where legally permitted, this policy is intended to establish the general refund framework applicable to international digital purchases.

23. No Waiver of Legal Rights

Nothing in this policy limits:

• mandatory consumer-protection legislation;
• statutory warranties;
• legally required cancellation rights;
• rights that cannot legally be waived;
• rights arising from fraud or unauthorized transactions; or
• other protections that applicable law requires Globe King Records to provide.

24. Changes to This Policy

Globe King Records may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Changes may reflect:

• new products;
• new payment systems;
• new delivery methods;
• changes in law;
• changes to business practices; or
• other operational developments.

The current version will be identified by its Last Updated date.

25. Language

This policy may be made available in English and French. The English and French versions are intended to be equally authoritative. If a discrepancy exists between versions, the interpretation required by applicable law will govern. Automatic browser translations are provided for convenience and do not replace the official versions published by Globe King Records.
